You will be able to find most of this basic economic information using both Google and Library Search Engines. The phrases to use will formulaically look like this:
“economic data" AND “country name”
where "economic data" = GDP, Inflation, Unemployment Percentage... etc
where "country name" = China, China, US, Chile, Canada, Sweden, Greece, Argentina... etc
Using the capitalized AND will force the search engines to only search for hits dealing with both search strings
Examples: "Japan" AND "GDP" or "Switzerland" AND "Inflation"
One more tip: Searching for the equivalent of the Bureau of Economic Analysis for your country may help as well.
