Search Tips

Try these search tips to achieve best results:

  • Broaden your search to include related concepts (preservation, conservation).
  • Use interdisciplinary databases (Academic Search Premier; JSTOR; Research Library) in addition to subject-specific databases (ERIC, GreenFILE, PsycInfo).

  • Look to other related fields (Education, Ecology, Environmental Studies) for applicable information
  • Use broad, one-word searches in Online Journal Finder to identify journals that cover that topic (for example, search on "Environmental" to see which journals we subscribe to that cover topics related to Environmental Science, Environmental Education, Environmental Studies, etc.).
