"Libguides" refers to self-paced, online learning guides created by librarians to support coursework and scholarship at Montreat College. At your request, the librarians will create a Libguide for your course, for your discipline, to help your students with a specific assignment -  the Libguide can be as specific or as broad as you specify.

How Are Montreat College Professors Using Libguides?

To supplement face-to-face instructional sessions teaching use of library resources

To directly link students to resources for specific assignments or projects

To communicate to students new and updated library resources

To link students to information on plagiarism, citation tools, scholarly versus popular publications, critically evaluating web resources

To provide library support to distance education students in the MSEE and SPAS programs

To directly link students to multimedia content (video, images, eBooks, and more)

Moodle users: Link to your courses' Libguide via Moodle.
